Rubicon Theatre Co-Founder James O'Neil, who became Artistic Director Emeritus last year to develop new works for commercial production as President of Off-Broadway Across America, returns to the Rubicon stage later this month as an actor. Beginning May 25, O'Neil plays one of the most intriguing and controversial characters of 19th- and 20th-century America in David Rintels' compelling one-man play Clarence Darrow. Clarence Darrow began performances on Wednesday, May 25, opened on Saturday, May 28 at 7pm and will continue through Sunday, June 12 at the Rubicon Theatre, 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura. Nashville Repertory Theatre Now Accepting Applications for 2016-17 Ingram New Works Lab

Now through June 13, 2016, Nashville Repertory Theatre is accepting applications from playwrights for the 2016-17 Ingram New Works Lab. The Lab is one of three components of the Ingram New Works Project, the other two being the Ingram New Works Fellowship and the Ingram New Works Festival. Atlantic Theater Company just presented their Annual Gala last night, March 7, at The Pierre (2 East 61 Street). Actors' Choice celebrated Atlantic's actors with a fabulous evening of unexpected songs, honoring David Richenthal and the Richenthal Foundation for their long-term support of Atlantic's mission. This year, Atlantic asked a slate of favorite Atlantic actors to choose a song they love and a favorite musician to perform it. Directed by Neil Pepe with musical direction by Matt Gallagher, Actors' Choice was an evening of unexpected songs and celebration. Sundance Institute Announces Projects for Theatre Lab in MENA

The Lab is part of the Institute's international cultural exchange programs for independent artists, which include a new, multi-year commitment to support artists from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), broadening the work of its East African Theatre Exchange over the past 15 years.
