After last week's absolutely not-shocking 'shocking' elimination, I was more than a little weary of trusting Ryan. Next he said that each finalist will have a difficult decision to make. I wasn't sure if this would actually end up being 'game-changer' or just another in a long line of IDOL swerves. (more...)

'I have crammed so much into the two years since I started in this business. I am sprinting because everyone around me has been doing this for decades and can enjoy their work at a nice peaceful saunter. I am playing catch up.' The tall slim twenty-one-year-old actor-musician smiles humbly. Soft spoken, with a quiet charm and subtle sense of humor, Andy Christopher, the star of Maine State Music Theatre's current production, The Buddy Holly Story, which is garnering rave reviews in its latest production in Brunswick, Maine, is talking about his whirlwind two years as a professional actor and the long, sometimes circuitous, often serendipitous route which has brought him from Texas to New York and onto the national stage. GGIS Publishing Presents 'Does God Act Unfairly?'GGIS Publishing Presents 'Does God Act Unfairly?'
by BWW News Desk - Jan 9, 2014

Who said Christians and atheists don't get along? In Does God Act Unfairly: A Cordial Conversation, seminarian Bryant Parsons and atheist academic Richard Schoenig go toe-to-toe debating the existence of God, with no holds barred. This rigorous, but friendly, discussion centers on Schoenig's argument that no unfair God could exist who gives different standards of eternal salvation for different people. Calvinist Parsons counters with a left hook - that all creation is for God's glory - and a right jab - that Schoenig is the one who's unfair. At the sound of the bell, the debaters take to the ring, arguing blow for blow about salvation, ethics, morality, and evolution. This book features an appendix that shows these gentlemen harbor no Hard Feelings. To learn more about this book, visit http://goo.gl/YDXWnX. About Bryant Parsons: Bryant Parsons was born in Trinidad to a 'spiritual but not religious' family, as they would describe themselves. After immigrating to the United States at age 5, it wasn't until he was a student at Howard University that Bryant converted to Christianity. Since then, his faith has led him to attend Nyack College and finally to Westminster Theological Seminary. He is currently an active member of Epiphany Fellowship Church in Philadelphia, PA, where he writes for the blog Veridical Epiphany. Richard Schoenig: Richard Schoenig was born and raised in Bergenfield, New Jersey. He received a BS in Chemistry from Fordham University, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame. After a two-year stint as an officer in the Army Corp of Engineers he earned an MA and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Indiana University, Bloomington. He has published in a variety of chemistry and philosophy journals and is the author of Exploring Philosophy, an introductory philosophy textbook. He is currently Professor of Philosophy at San Antonio College. When not trying to figure out the meaning of life, he can be found grousing about politics, doing crossword puzzles, working on physical fitness - especially playing basketball - and enjoying the mountains of west Texas and southwest Colorado. About GGIS: GGIS Publishing is a Non-Profit Publishing Company that exists to assist non-profits, ministries, and independent authors in creating rich, relevant, and redemptive literature.
