Theatre Royal Stratford East Announces Full Casting for Bonnie Greer's THE HOTEL CERISE

Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East, Kerry Michael today announces the cast for the world premiere of Bonnie Greer's new play The Hotel Cerise, directed by Femi Elufowoju, jr. Inspired by Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard the production is a key part of the theatre's focus on commissioning new work and adaptations. Ellen Thomas leads the company, with El Anthony, Madeline Appiah, Michael Bertenshaw, Nicholas Beveney, Andrew Dennis, Abhin Galeya, Lacharne Jolly, Corey Montague-Sholay, Claire Prempeh, Alexis Rodney and Angela Wynter. Fulfilling its Music Director/Founder's dream of uniting the Yosemite National Park Gateway communities and also celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service in a truly special way, the Mariposa Symphony Orchestra (MSO) embarked on an historic five-county tour of those gateway communities in 2016. Les Marsden's evening-length four-movement symphonic cycle titled “Our Nation's Nature” was performed by the MSO under that work's composer in seven concerts in Mariposa County, Madera County, Merced County, Tuolumne County, Mono County and two unprecedented concerts in Yosemite National Park itself. Washington Pavilion Visual Arts Center Welcomes Stroller Tours

The Washington Pavilion's Visual Arts Center is introducing a new program called Stroller Tours. Stroller Tours offer parents, Guardians and caregivers and their pre-toddler-age (18 months and younger children) an opportunity to experience the museum's current exhibits with their young children in tow.  These tours, led by the center's knowledgeable Museum guides, are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month and run from 10:30-11:15 a.m. Participants can expect casual and lively adult conversation where no one minds if a baby lends his or her opinion with a coo or a cry.
