If you asked me to relive the same day in the 1990s over and over again, I wouldn't protest. I'd pull on my comfiest, oversized flannel, turn on some SALUTE YOUR SHORTS, and listen to the Spice Girls on repeat. To me, reliving the 90s seems like a nostalgic dream come true. (more...)

by Erin Resnick - Oct 16, 2014

As THE VAMPIRE DIARIES continues to straddle two dimensions and two time periods, I've done a lot of thinking on which of these planes I would rather exist on. Fortunately, I didn't have to waste too much time because the answer is obviously 1994 Heaven/Hell. Awesome music, sweet clothing, no lines, no worrying about obnoxious people trying to murder you every five minutes. Damon and Bonnie have it good. (more...)

Attention men who are living apart from their wives in the midst of some ridiculous pseudo marriage: if a strange woman answers your phone when your wife calls, do NOT hop on a plane and fly cross country to see your Mrs. It makes you look suspicious, becomes fuel for gossip, and if your wife is Meredith Grey, it'll lead to her killing a patient (bye bye, Streak). You say, “I came home because we're in trouble.” She hears, “I came home to apologize for having sex with my underling.” (more...)

by Dylan Siegman - Feb 10, 2015

Last week we followed Jake and Annie as they try to throw off the investigation of a hate crime, which they started, by carrying out another hate crime on themselves. We got some hilarious scenes out of the return of Jessica St. Clair as their snobby neighbor, as she staged a 'care-frontation' and led the investigation into all the hate crimes in the building. Meanwhile, Dennah and Gil battled for the only remaining plus 1 invitation for Jake and Annie's wedding after an influx of additional guests. Kay, having bowed out of the competition, ends up needing the plus 1 invitation because it turns out she has a girlfriend! I didn't see any mention on Casey Wilson's twitter of a guest star on this week's episode, but maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised! (more...)
