It's a look at The Beach Boys musical Good Vibrations, but we start things off at the opening night celebration of the New York production of Michael Frayn's play Democracy which starred Richard Thomas, James Naughton and Robert Prosky. Richard talked about sharing the stage once again with his friend, James Naughton. 'We go way back. This is our fourth play we've done together. We love being onstage together. We're so different in every way, physically and vocally. It's a terrific match for us and we just love to talk to each other onstage.'

The California Roots Music and Arts Festival has become synonymous with the North American reggae and roots music scene, but for years the event has also featured some of the biggest names in hip hop. Jäh Division (members of Oneida, Home) are excited to announce Dub Will Tear Us Apart... Again, the reissue of their 2004 debut album featuring psychedelic dub reggae versions of Joy Division classics (due January 25, 2019 via Ernest Jenning Record Co.). The reissue is a deluxe version of the original release, the band's sole output. Initially a 4-track EP, the record has been expanded to include a 5th Joy Division track ('Isolation'), two unreleased originals from a scrapped album, and a bonus 7' with previously unreleased covers of tracks by Desmond Dekker and Jackie Mittoo from the original sessions. The announcement and debut of the album's first four tracks came via Dangerous Minds, who noted that 'the heart and soul... of the dreary Manchester doomlords gets run through dubby delays, effects and even a Farfisa reverb.'
