Tonight Starring continues in 2024 with a unique staged reading of Farragut North, written by Beau Willimon.

The show is a blistering expose of a political campaign and the tenuous loyalty, fierce ambition and blinding hubris that takes place every day in every office across the country.

5th Floor Theatre Company, a nonprofit organization supporting emerging theatre artists in New York City as they build a foundation for their careers, will present Farragut North, a play by Beau Willimon (House of Cards) in its first New York City production in more than a decade.  

After sell out seasons in the West End and through the UK, Anthony Jay and Jonathan Lynn's hit returns to the stage for one week only at Theatr Clwyd this November. Prime Minister Jim Hacker and his long-suffering Cabinet Secretary Sir Humphrey Appleby are back - still morally dubious and spinning the stories - all the while staring disaster and political ruin in the face.

Instead of stepping up to his familial duties, Eric runs away from his sadness straight into a 'Wall of Dicks'. Fortunately, there's a hot, imaginary Cockroach who's there to help him to confront his grief and his family's disappointment. Death and Cockroaches, a brand new theatrical experience presented by Chalk Repertory Theatre, opens November 9 for four weeks at Atwater Village Theatre. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, June 26 at 10:00am ET for SpongeBob SquarePants on Broadway at The Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway - Broadway at 47th Street). Preview performances begin Monday, November 6th with an official opening on Monday, December 4th.

Atlantic Theater Company has announced the world premiere production of Olivier Award winner Derren Brown's new show Secret, written by Andy Nyman, Derren Brown and Andrew O'Connor, and directed by Andrew O'Connor and Andy Nyman.

Shaun Williamson will join the cast of the Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. Nesbit's novel The Railway Children - Live on Stage at the same time as the show celebrates its first anniversary at King's Cross Theatre in London. Shaun will play Mr Perks from tonight 16 January.

Voila, for the start of its 36th season, Ensemble Theatre has chosen Beau Willimon's 2008 drama, FARRAGUT NORTH, which examines the lust for power among political hacks.

Eve Enseler's new play O.P.C. -- short for 'Obsessive Political Correctness' -- comes to American Repertory Theatre this fall and continues into A.R.T.'s winter season, running November 28, 2014 through January 4, 2015. Directed by Pesha Rudnick, the show will star Melissa Leo and Olivia Thirlby.
