Early in 2015 the cast of LIBERTY and its writers went into the studio at John Kilgore Sound & Recording to make a cast album. A brand new musical, produced in collaboration with Escalate Dance, continuing the performance partnership that has brought you Owl Moon and The Mitten in the past two seasons. Twelve sisters, all princesses, share a bedroom in which they are locked each night. Each morning, their shoes are found to have been worn through, as if the young ladies had danced all night long. A contest is begun, to discover what is going on. Whoever discovers the secret of the twelve dancing princesses will be the winner and accorded power and riches by the king. (more...)

There's no question that Reno Sweeney, the bad girl with a good heart and a big voice is steering the madcap cruise known as Anything Goes, on the stage of The Warner Theatre for two nights, February 25-26 '15. And even more appropriately, its antithesis Seven Deadly Sins: Lust will open on April 19, 2015. The Wilma will produce what many believe to be the greatest play written by Shakespeare, and many others consider the greatest play written in the English language. The fight for the throne of Denmark, quest for moral righteousness, and complexities of vengeance will be reexamined on our stage with resonances to contemporary society. The title character in Shakespeare's tragedy will be played by the powerful actress Zainab Jah, who appeared as Prudence in last season's production of The Convert. Immediately following Hamlet, the Wilma will stage Tom Stoppard's now classic behind-the-scenes comedy Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, both directed by Wilma Artistic Director Blanka Zizka and using the same company of actors.
