A superb cast of West End stars including James Fox (Fame Academy, Jesus Christ Superstar), Shona White (Wicked), Tam Mutu (Love Never Dies), Rebecca Lock (The Phantom of the Opera, Avenue Q), James Graeme (The Phantom of the Opera), David Erik (Dirty Dancing, The Phantom of the Opera) and Steve Varnom (The Woman in White) lead a cast of 30 actors and musicians in this unmissable production.

Written by Tim Rice and ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, CHESS has one of the greatest musical theatre scores of all time including One Night In Bangkok, Pity The Child, Anthem, You And I and, of course, I Know Him So Well.

Two of the world's greatest chess masters battle it out at the world chess championships but their greatest contest is for the love of one woman. Amidst political intrigue and international conspiracies, the American and the Russian fight to win the heart of Florence Vassy in a romantic triangle that mirrors the heightened passions of the Cold War all set to an explosive score by the composers of Mamma Mia and the lyricist of Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita.

Make your move now and book for the must-see musical event of the year!

BWW Reviews: Intriguing Yet Muddled ZERO HOUR: TOKYO ROSE'S LAST TAPE Plays Kennedy CenterBWW Reviews: Intriguing Yet Muddled ZERO HOUR: TOKYO ROSE'S LAST TAPE Plays Kennedy Center
by Jennifer Perry - Feb 9, 2015

Celebrated Japanese artist Miwa Yanagi's play, Zero Hour: Tokyo Rose's Last Tape is making the rounds to various American cities (before playing Washington DC's Kennedy Center this past weekend, it played New York). Fundamentally, the North American tour is a great idea because it takes a more or less comparatively lesser known segment of World War II history involving Japanese Americans and presents it to American audiences in an intriguing way. Underpinning the history-based narrative is also the idea of young, impressionable females being pawns for their older male counterparts - an idea which transcends historical, geographical, and sociocultural contexts. New York City Non-Profit Organization Project Haven Forms Collaborative Agreement with BCC of CUNY to Provide Much Needed After School ProgramsNew York City Non-Profit Organization Project Haven Forms Collaborative Agreement with BCC of CUNY to Provide Much Needed After School Programs
by BWW News Desk - Feb 5, 2015

Project Haven and BCC of The City University of New York have agreed to collaborate, with the objective of providing after-school programs in the Community the Bronx. This partnership could not have come at a better time. Now more than ever Project Haven can use the public's support to keep children engaged, safe and away from crime and drugs in our community. Donors, teachers, parents, and students all agree there is an unmet need for after-school activities in this area, where a large number of children live in abject poverty. The lack of these facilities result in many of our at risk youth being left alone after school, with many being exposed to the streets and the antisocial behaviors this can bring about. Project Haven aims to provide a "safe haven" for those children whose parents cannot afford the high and escalating costs of after-school programs and teaches them a variety of activities that promotes social inclusion by encouraging responsibility, discipline, self-esteem, self-respect and mutual respect for adults and people of other cultures.
