Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber are proud to announce the latest performance in its 2016 - 2017 season of Chicago's hit musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway 1969, hosted by E. Faye Butler, co-directed by Adrian Abel Azevedo and Michael Weber with music direction by David Fiorello, is Monday, March 14at Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave in Skokie and Tuesday, March 15 at the Uptown Underground, 4707 N. Broadway at 7:30 p.m.  In tribute to the original New Faces series that ran on Broadway and on film from 1934 - 1968, Porchlight Music Theatre last year created this Chicago musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway, as a showcase for the best emerging music talent now performing on Chicago stages. Each edition is a journey from the start to the finish of a entire musical season on Broadway, peppered with photos and films of the era in an exciting multimedia presentation with a favorite Chicago theatre veteran hosting and introducing the next generation of music theatre artists while acting as your guide through a past season on the Great White Way. 11th Hour Theatre Company Brings Road Show to Next Step Concert Series

11th Hour Theatre Company continues its 12th season with its third Next Step Concert Series performance. This time the series features a rarely produced Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman musical, Road Show. Road Show comes to the Next Step Concert Series March 31-April 2. Sondheim wrote the music and lyrics and Weidman wrote the book to this musical about two brothers chasing the American Dream. Prince's REVOLUTION Expand North American Tour

After a stunning response to the surprise announcement of their first tour in decades, The Revolution have now confirmed plans for an extensive North American tour.  The reunion, which began as just six dates, including a special show at Paisley Park for Celebration 2017, quickly expanded even further when demand made it necessary to add second shows in Chicago, New York and Philadelphia.  Now, the quintet are set to bring their exciting new show to the rest of the U.S. with additional dates that bring the band through the midwest and on to the west coast.  The current itinerary ends on July 15th in Seattle, with even more dates expected to be announced soon. Grey Gardens, The Musical is the hilarious and heartbreaking story of Big Edie and Little Edie Bouvier Beale, the peculiar aunt and cousin of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The musical takes place at Grey Gardens, the Bouviers' mansion in East Hampton, New York and tracks the progression of the two women's lives. Trustus Art Director, Chad Henderson, states, "Our production, based on the real-life cousins of Jackie Onassis, is prefaced by the cult classic documentary of the same name from the 70's, an HBO film starring Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore, and even a parody piece featuring SNL's Bill Hader and Fred Armisen. America has long had a curiosity for these real women and their story continues to intrigue us - especially since they are part of the Camelot story and one of America's most popular political families.
