Based on the screenplay be Steve Gordon

King Arthur, the famous semi-opera in five acts by Henry Purcell, brings together theatre, dance and opera to give pride of place to love and the motherland. The original libretto by the English poet, John Dryden, tells of the quest of Arthur, king of the Britons, to rescue his fiancťe, the princess Emmeline, abducted by his sworn enemy, Oswald, king of the Saxons. Our great Belgian novelist and poet, Peter Verhelst, has brought this passionate warriorís legend up-to-date and re-written the spoken parts, injecting the plot with the originality of his own colourful imagination. Moreover, this production will be part of the commemoration to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War. There can be no doubt that this modern rewriting, carried by the musical energy of the Ghent orchestra, BíRock, will revive the political impact and theatrical strength of Purcellís masterpiece.

BWW Review: SUPERIOR DONUTS at Third Wall Productions Impresses with Heart and Humor
by Kristen Price - Jan 24, 2017

A few months back I decided to read Tracy Letts' SUPERIOR DONUTS. I do that a lot when I've decided I missed a show that I really wish I hadn't. If I can't see it in person, then reading the play is a close second. The story of a small donut shop in a rundown neighborhood of Chicago, its owner and the people that frequent his shop struck a chord with me. The relationship between Arthur, and Franco, the young man Arthur employs is full of differences. Arthur is an aging Polish hippie/donut-maker, while Franco is a young African American writer. by Jeffrey Kare - Jan 23, 2017

Always...Patsy Cline tells the true story of Patsy Cline's friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger. Having first heard Cline on The Arthur Godfrey Show in 1957, Seger became an immediate and avid fan of Cline's and she constantly hounded the local disc jockey to play Cline's records on the radio. In 1961 when Cline went to Houston for a show, Seger and her buddies arrived about an hour-and-a-half early and, by coincidence, met Cline who was traveling alone. The two women struck up a friendship that was to culminate in Cline spending the night at Seger's house, a friendship that lasted until Cline's untimely death in a plane crash in 1963 when she was only 30 years old.
