Kyle Golemba and Adam White have reason to celebrate: the debut of the recording of their all-Canadian musical theatre revue, Making Love in a Canoe. A 'sonnet to Canadian culture', Making Love in a Canoe features the work of 15 Canadian writers including Nancy White, Leslie Arden, and Jonathan Monro. Starvox Entertainment and John Yonover/Revonoy Productions today announced the casting and creative details for Dee Snider's Rock & Roll Christmas Tale, written by and starring Twisted Sister front man Dee Snider. Snider will be joined by singer/songwriter recording sensation, Taylor Dayne, along with eleven other acclaimed Toronto "triple threat" actors-musicians-singers who will perform in the highly anticipated Christmas musical on stage at the Winter Garden Theatre (189 Yonge Street) from Nov. 17, 2015 to Jan. 3, 2016. Hocus Pocus: A Live, Satirical Reading of the Cult Classic to be Staged at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre

Total Betty Productions and Random Hero Entertainment are pleased to present Hocus Pocus - A live, satirical reading of the cult classic. Monday, October 26th at 8pm at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre. Set in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, virgin Max Dennison, sister Dani, and new friend Allison, accidentally free a coven of evil witches. With the help of a talking cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal. Hocus Pocus premiered in 1993 to lackluster reviews, but since then has grown a steady reputation as a cult classic film.  (more...)

Vocalists, Michael Hughes (2013 New York City Bistro Award Winner, Mickey & Judy) and Callandra Dendias (Toronto's Mamma Mia!), who last joined forces in 2010 for their sold-out concert "Unexpressed" at the Berkeley Street Theatre, will reunite for Defying Gravity: The Music of Stephen Schwartz on June 18th at Toronto's Jazz Bistro.
