Built in 1913 as the flagship for the big time vaudeville circuit run by E.F. Albee and Martin Beck, manager of the Western Vaudeville Managers Association, the Palace was the perfect showplace for the biggest of big time vaudeville during the last two decades of its existence.

Celebrated stage impresario, Tony Spinosa, has spent the past four weeks in the Valley, training nearly forty local performers to dance in Valley Youth Theatre's (VYT) upcoming production of, Newsies, running August 10 through August 26, at the Herberger Theater Center. The production is presented by Valley Toyota Dealers and sponsored in part by Edward Jones.  It is directed by VYT's Producing Artistic Director of 22 years, Bobb Cooper.

In Providence, MISS SAIGON is part of the Taco/White Family Foundation Broadway Series.

Broadway In Boston, Boston's mainstage for Broadway, has unveiled the upcoming 2018-2019 Lexus Broadway Season during its annual spring announcement event at the Boston Opera House.  Eleven theatrical productions will take center stage at the Boston Opera House and the Emerson Colonial Theatre.  Over 1500 people from around the city gathered for the annual celebration including Broadway In Boston's Season ticket holders, group leaders, arts and business leaders, city officials, partners from around the city, sponsors and the Boston media.  Highlights from the day included live performances from cast members of DEAR EVAN HANSEN, ROALD DAHL'S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, SCHOOL OF ROCK and A BRONX TALE.  

The Suncoast Credit Union Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF) is proud to announce the dynamic 2018 Feature Film Competition Lineup. The festival includes 35 U.S., international and documentary features, as well as other programming, to kick-off its 12th festival season. This new production is directed by Signature Theatre's Associate Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner (Signature's West Side Story, La Cage Aux Folles) with choreography by Tony Award nominee Denis Jones (Broadway's Holiday Inn, Honeymoon in Vegas). Crazy for You will run from tonight, November 7, 2017, through January 14, 2018 in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre.
