NJPAC presents virtual viewing of the 1981 Sam Raimi classic, Evil Dead on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. There will be live commentary throughout by Bruce Campbell himself.  Watch the film with Campbell as he shares memories, stories, and anecdotes from the film, and for a few lucky viewers, Bruce will even answer questions from the chat.

Piano Bar Live! (PBL!) A Night at Rose's Turn, Part 2, streams tonight Tuesday, November at 7:15 pm ET, with hosts Scott Barbarino and Leslie Anderson. The fun of an evening such as this week's 'Michael Kahn & Friends, Off the Record: The Lansburgh Years, 1992-2007' derives from the relaxed, unscripted content provided by those who usually offer scripts to an audience. The three actors and one former administrative colleague who joined Kahn at the Harman Wednesday to visit memory lane required little prompting by moderator Tom Story to recall and reminisce about their work with the Shakespeare Theatre Company during the Lansburgh Years. Once Story asked each to remember his/her first meeting with Michael Kahn, a series of photos of past productions drove the evening of anecdotes.

Well, the next step in my decluttering/digitizing journey is throwing out my Chess CDs, not that they take up much space. I only have the Original Concept Recording and the Broadway cast. I'm going to download the freaking 2008 Royal Albert Hall concert version (with Idina Menzel, Josh Groban and Adam Pascal) to try to keep this column hip. But let's all just remember two things: 1.) I am not hip; and, 2.) I'm just downloading the concert for this column, so it doesn't really count as part of my digitizing.

Tom Gold Dance will present the World Premiere of Tom Gold Dance Founder and Director Tom Gold's Significant Strangers to selections from Bernstein's Anniversaries for solo piano during its annual spring season, Wednesday, April 3 and Thursday, April 4, 2019 at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College. Also on the program are the New York City Premiere of Gold's Blind Revelry to Stephen Sondheim's rarely heard Concertino for two pianos, and a revival of Gold's Counterpoint.
