Dallas Theater Center announced today that Brierley Resident Acting Company member Liz Mikel and former Company member Cedric Neal will headline Centerstage 2013 tonight, May 11. Co-chaired by Rusty Duvall and Deborah McMurray, with honorary chairs Diane and Hal Brierley, Centerstage 2013 will take place at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, which will be transformed for the evening. Paper Mill Playhouse has just announced the cast and creative team for Disney's The Little Mermaid, based on the classic animated film of the same title. The American premiere of this brand new production will feature a revamped script, additional songs, a new physical production and an entirely fresh interpretation of the piece. The cast includes acclaimed Broadway performers: Nick Adams (Prince Eric), Jessica Grove (Ariel), Liz McCartney (Ursula), Alan Mingo, Jr. (Sebastian) and Edward Watts (King Triton). The free outdoor concert series will run six consecutive Thursdays, from July 11 to August 15, 2013, and is located in the idyllic Turner Park in the heart of Midtown Crossing. Paper Mill Playhouse's reimagined production will play at partner theaters Kansas City Starlight and Pittsburgh CLO. Disney's The Little Mermaid will be directed by Glenn Casale with original choreography byJohn MacInnis. The cast includes acclaimed Broadway performers: Nick Adams (Prince Eric), Jessica Grove (Ariel), Liz McCartney (Ursula), Alan Mingo, Jr. (Sebastian) and Edward Watts (King Triton). Disney's The Little Mermaid will run at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from May 29 through June 30, 2013. The official press opening is Sunday, June 2, at 7:00pm. TNT has greenlit Inside Job, a new unscripted series that puts executive job candidates through a truly unique screening process that includes being spied upon by a company insider in order to find the most suitable candidate. The series is being produced for TNT by All3Media America/Studio Lambert (Undercover Boss, The Million Second Quiz), with creator Stephen Lambert and Eli Holzman serving as executive producers. TNT has ordered six episodes of Inside Job, with plans to launch the series in 2014. (more...)

TBS has greenlit Ground Floor, a new workplace comedy with a romantic twist written by Emmy(R) nominees Bill Lawrence (Cougar Town, Scrubs, Clone High) and Greg Malins (2 Broke Girls, How I Met Your Mother). The series stars Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect), Briga Heelan (Cougar Town) and John C. McGinley (Scrubs). Ground Floor is being produced by Lawrence's Doozer, in association with Warner Horizon Television, with Lawrence and Jeff Ingold (Like Father) serving as executive producers.
