Florida Studio Theatre to Open Summer Season with THE FABULOUS LIPITONES

The Summer Mainstage season kicks off at FST with the serenades of a not so traditional Barbershop quartet. Written by John Markus and Mark St. Germain, The Fabulous Lipitones, delivers the story of a broken barbershop quartet seeking their fourth member. The perfect harmony they desire is quickly thrown off key when they see "Bob," for the first time. 59E59 Theaters has announced the lineup of shows for the 2016 Summer Season. Ticket prices range from $12 - $70 ($10 - $49 for 59E59 Members). Brand New Heavies featuring N'Dea Davenport will be playing select American dates this summer showcasing brand new music to be released in 2016 and 2017. The band plan to release and EP of new material, entitled TBNHND (Ear Music/Edel) as well as the sequel to The Heavy Rhyme Experience Vol. I originally released in 1992. The album featured collaborations with Guru of Gang Starr, Grand Puba, Main Source, and The Pharcyde to name a few and Brand New Heavies will be recording the next volume in New York City next month, announcing collaborators soon. Broadway Babysitters, New York City's first entertainment specific childcare agency, is set to officially open on Tuesday, May 24th. Broadway Babysitters, which first launched their childcare drop-off center at Pearl Studios in NYC on March 5, 2016, was created by Broadway actors Vasthy Mompoint (Rocky) and Jennifer Melenke (Into The Woods) to meet the needs of the familes of New York City as well as the performing artist community and their families.
