Last night, September 7, Ellen DeGeneres made a surprise cameo in PROMISES, PROMISES as the 'Nurse' in Act 1, performing alongside Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth. The cameo was orchestrated as a promo for the upcoming season of her talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres show. In a move that surprised everyone, her walk-on was kept under wraps until her debut last night, with media not being alerted until midnight following the performance. (more...)

The wonderful musical comedy, Hello, Dolly! opens Wednesday, August 18 at Berwick's Hackmatack Playhouse. Hello, Dolly! features music by Jerry Herman, based on Thornton Wilder's 1938 farce The Merchant of Yonkers, which Wilder revised and re-titled The Matchmaker in 1955. Hello, Dolly! was first produced on Broadway by David Merrick in 1964, winning 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
