The California-born actress admits she has longed to return to theatre since her staring role in the 2005 revival of Sweet Charity, which earned her a Tony Award nomination for best actress in a musical. And while she's currently filming her U.S. TV comedy Samantha Who? in Los Angeles, Applegate announced that returning to the Big Apple is among her many ambitions, because the city feels like a second home.
