Natsu Onoda Power is one of the most creative forces in DC theatre. With such credits as Yellow Face at Theater J and Astro Boy and the God of Comics at Studio Theatre, Power's productions are always visually stunning and very clear in the way she tells a story. This review starts as it does because I want it to be perfectly clear that I am a big admirer of Power's work upfront. Unfortunately, her latest endeavor goes against everything I just said. The Nevada federal court ruled that because 'substantial portions' of the unpublished 'Tommy DeVito: Then and Now' were used in the musical's book, 10% is owed to Donna Corbello- the widow of the biography's author. Some of the best stories begin in the "Green Room" at the 77WABC studios where "The Late" Joey Reynolds broadcasts very live. Last night's guests included Academy Award Nominated Actor and Cabaret performer Danny Aiello, Super Singer Julie Budd, and comic Steven Scott. KT Sullivan was also scheduled, but was having so much fun at that Green Room party that she didn't make it into the studio on time. Danny Aiello talked about his Annual Christmas Party which takes place at The Triad on December 19th and Julie Budd, who appeared with "The Chairman" many times appropriately brought her new album for his birthday -  Mr. Sinatra. BWW Review: Troubies Rock Falcon Theatre with LITTLE DRUMMER BOWIE

The Troubadour Theater Company's Little Drummer Bowie was first presented at the Falcon in 2005, and with the fairly recent passing of iconic musician David Bowie, it seems the perfect time to bring it back. For many Bowie and rock are synonymous, just as director/founder Garry Marshall and the Falcon have been synonymous. Both Marshall and Bowie passed away in 2016. They brought music, love and laughter to the world through the arts, so The Troubadour Theater Company is paying tribute to both men with the revival of this production. (more...)
