ELTC to Offer Free Juggling Classes, 3/18

The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company is hosting a free juggling class with James Rana on Tuesday, March 18 from 7:00p.m.-8:30p.m. His workshops have been so popular, that the company had to bring him back. Ages 8 on up are welcome, with or without juggling experience. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothes, and juggling items will be provided. The workshop is held at The First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, 500 Hughes St., where ELTC is in residence. (more...)

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for Alan Ayckbourn's science fiction comedy Communicating Doors. Eleven plays penned by Alan Ayckbourn have been produced by the Alley, including the American premiere of Henceforward, directed by Ayckbourn, in 1987 and House & Garden in 2002. Alan Ayckbourn has been inducted into the American Theatre's Hall of Fame, received the 2010 Critics' Circle Award for Services to the Arts, became the first British playwright to receive both Olivier and Tony Special Lifetime Achievement Awards and was knighted in 1997 for services to the theatre. You can drag a Holmes to water, but you can't make him drink. The beleaguered Holmes parents brought their highly functioning sociopath of a son - and presumably Mycroft, though the whole venture was likely his idea - to see several Broadway musicals, and Sherlock didn't disappoint. While his family was enjoying popular showstoppers like 'Brotherhood of Man', 'At the Ballet', and 'One Day More', Sherlock was quietly deducting away and was gracious enough to share his observations with The Toast.
