As previously announced, Tony-Award-nominated actress, Emily Skinner, will head up an all star cast for a newly conceptualized production of Into The Woods at Theatre Under The Stars this holiday season. The production, which is being directed and choreographed by Tony Award Nominee Robert Longbottom, will run in Houston from December 6 - 18, 2016 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Is the house haunted? Reluctantly, Julia decides to summon Eleanor, her mother and a dowser living in Vermont. Eleanor figures out the problem, but it will take more than a dowsing stick to uncover the secrets of the townhouse. On Friday, March 10 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, the orchestra and Maestro Reineke continue their Carnegie Hall season with Life is a Cabaret: The Songs of Kander and Ebb, a celebration of composer John Kander's 90th birthday and five-decade partnership with lyricist Fred Ebb. Tony Award nominee Tony Yazbeck joins previously announced Caissie Levy performing songs from the duo's biggest Broadway sensations including Cabaret, Kiss of the Spiderwoman,The Scottsboro Boys, and Chicago. Let's be clear: Randy Rainbow's ELECTION EVE PARTY held on Monday, night at Birdland wasn't exactly a non-partisan event.
