This week, we are taking a look and a listen to one of the foremost interpreters of song - whether originating from the stage, film, the Great American songbook, world music, tailor-made-music and virtually everything else - the legendary Barbra Streisand. Nothing can be said that hasn't been said about Ms. Streisand, she is a star unlike any other, but her recent intimate concert before 120 lucky audience members on September 26 of last year - marking her fortieth anniversary in show business - is perhaps her most arresting concert ever preserved on home video, a feat in itself considering her past pitch-perfect television specials. Let's not focus on the way we were, but more how we are today: in the case of Ms. Streisand, simply irresistible. (more...)

Like no other violinist of recent times, Bell has captured the imaginations of both critics and audiences; Interview magazine once said his playing 'does nothing less than tell human beings why they bother to live.' In May, 2007, Girls Night: The Musical had its American premiere at in Scottsdale. Since then, it's toured successfully in the UK and the US. It is now running off-Broadway, at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and the Seminole Hard Rock in Florida. Tim Flaherty (photo left), owner of Entertainment Events, Inc., the producer of the show, was very excited to bring it to Las Vegas and, specifically, to the MGM Grand, located on what he calls 'the best real estate in Las Vegas.'
