The first Broadway revival of the 1982 Tony Award?-winning musical based on the classic film 8 1/2. Antonio Banderas, Laura Benanti, Jane Krakowski, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Chita Rivera lead the cast.

Nine revolves around one central character, Guido Contini (played by Banderas in his Broadway debut), a film director in the Fellini mold. He is contracted to write and direct a film, but is unable to come up with a suitable plot. After recent box office failures, he finds himself drifting towards a nervous breakdown. Guido finds himself examining his past flawed relationships with the many women who have come through his life and the struggle to act his mature age of 40--as opposed to nine.

Nathanael William Stolte is a madcap, DIY, Buffalo poet. His first chapbook 'A Beggar's Book of Poems' published by LastFirstPress-PrintCollective came out in the summer of 2015. He has been a featured poet at Third Wednesday, ECC, and Buffalo State College. Also, in Cleveland, Ohio at Guide to Kulture Book Store. He is one of the founding members of Cringe-Worthy Poets Collective. CWPCollective Press is the kitchen table press he and the Cringers started this year. His second chapbook 'Bumblebee Petting Zoo' and small collections of poems '9 By NWS' and '8 By NWS' were published this year (2016). He is currently working on a summer tour with the Cringers and John Dorsey, Nine cities from New Jersey to New Mexico at the end of July. He travels to Kent and Cleveland Ohio for readings as well as Rochester New York. He hopes to expand to Syracuse New York and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He describes his poetics as cathartic confessional or nostalgic reverie. He also co-hosts a monthly poetry circle at Rust Belt on Grant Street, every first Thursday of the month, always at 7pm. Miami City Ballet Releases Company Roster for Upcoming Season

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – (May 16, 2016) – Miami City Ballet (MCB) has announced its 50-member roster for the 2016-17 season, which opens on October 23 in Miami, including the promotions of Nathalia Arja to principal soloist and both Chase Swatosh and Shimon Ito to soloists, and the addition of four new dancers: Lauren Fadeley, formerly a principal with Pennsylvania Ballet (PAB) who is joining MCB as a soloist; Amir Yogev, another dancer from PAB who began his career with MCB; and Alaina Andersen and Luiz Silva, both recent graduates of Miami City Ballet School.
