CAGNEY, the new hit musical about Hollywood's tough guy in tap shoes, just recently welcomed Broadway's Jeffry Denman  to the company.  Denman is best known for starring in the original company of Irving Berlin's White Christmas for which he was nominated for a Fred & Adele Astaire Award. He was Munkustrap in the final cast of Cats (original Broadway production) and was featured in the original company of The Producers which led him to pen the memoir, A Year with The Producers.  (more...)

Back by popular audience demand, local singer, Jaci Davis returns for her third appearance at the Arthur Newman Theater at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2 PM in "Can't Help Singing". The show features Standards by composer Jerome Kern and marks the final show of the 7th season for the Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series produced by Les Michaels. Jaci Davis will be backed by a live trio made up of Derrik Lewis on piano, Bill Siatta on bass, and Doug MacDonald on acoustic guitar. Guest artists Colin Donnell and Laura Osnes of Broadway fame alongside operatic baritone Nathan Gunn will bring these legendary show tunes to life with the full 78-piece New York Pops. Katie Rosie Clarke (as Ellen) and Nicholas Christopher (as John) are the latest additions to the the cast of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON, which begins performances Wednesday, March 1 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Directed by Laurence Connor (LES MISERABLES, School of Rock), the Broadway return of MISS SAIGON will feature its American stars, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer and 20-year-old Eva Noblezada as Kim, who created their roles in the West End to great acclaim. Rachelle Ann Goand Devin Ilaw have also recently joined the cast, as Gigi and Thuy. The lead male role of Chris will be announced later this month.
