On October 28, 2010, Oprah will host the cast of the 1965 film version of The Sound of Music. The entire cast will appear on the program, which will feature a performance by the real-life von Trapp Family Singers. . The cast reunion is timed to The Sound of Music 45th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection, Blu-ray and DVD Combo Packs, all which include a version of the film that has been meticulously restored and re-mastered, will be available beginning November 2 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The show features the memorable popular classics 'My Funny Valentine,' 'The Lady is a Tramp,' 'Johnny One-Note,' 'Where or When?' 'I Wish I Were in Love Again,' and 'All at Once.' THE SOUND OF MUSIC: 45th ANNIVERSARY EDITION will be available at all physical and digital retail outlets starting November 2 through Legacy/Rodgers & Hammerstein/FOX. The release of the deluxe soundtrack edition, with new liner notes and newly-rediscovered photos from the FOX archives, will coincide with the film's high definition Blu-ray Disc debut from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. To commemorate the film's anniversary, TCFHE will release individually numbered Limited Collector's Sets packaged in a keepsake box featuring the digitally remastered and restored film on Blu-ray Disc, a bonus DVD copy of the film, the new deluxe soundtrack CD, a 100-page 'My Favorite Things' scrapbook, a reproduction of the original 1965 souvenir program, an exclusive hand-painted 'My Favorite Things' music box and more. Before anyone removes a lick of clothing in EndTimes' decidedly secular song and sketch revue, Naked Holidays, an unlikely matchup of a perky and cultured Brit (Ruthie Stephens) and a snarling Mexican heavy metaler (Alessandro Colla) leads the cast of nineteen young and attractive performers, most of whom you will see naked by the evening's end, in a brief orientation of the history of the holidays that grace our December calendars.  The sketchy reasons for the celebration of the birth of Christ occurring on December 25th, they conclude, originates from the already present pagan solstice festivals, which were loaded with drunkenness, orgies and crude comedies and spectacles.
