Greenway Arts Alliance Announces Casting For THE COLOR PURPLE

Greenway Arts Alliance (Whitney Weston and Pierson Blaetz, Co-Founders and Co-Artistic Directors) announced the cast and creative team for the THE COLOR PURPLE, which will play at the Greenway Court Theatre (544 N. Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles). Performances run from November 9 through December 9 with the official press opening on Saturday, November 10. The Tony Award-winning musical features a book by Marsha Norman and music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis and Stephen Bray. Directing and choreographing the cast of 15 is NAACP Theater Award-winner Jeffrey Polk (Smokey Joe's Cafe).

Centenary Stage Company Announces Vivian Matalon Memorial

The Neighborhood Playhouse at 340 East 54th Street (near 1st Avenue) in New York City will be holding a memorial to honor Tony award winning director Vivian Matalon on Monday, October 8 at 7PM. Curio Theatre Company To Open Season With Arthur Miller's ALL MY SONS

Curio Theatre Company opens its 2018-2019 Season with an American classic. The company's 14th Season, begins with a beloved Arthur Miller work that audiences will see through a new lens. Curio is presenting Miller's All My Sons October 10-November 3. The Joyce Theater Foundation (Linda Shelton, Executive Director) is thrilled to present the return of its highly anticipated Ballet Festival, a two-week showcase of some of America's most exciting contemporary ballet companies and choreographers with Joyce commissions on each program. The Festival, designed to recognize dancers and choreographers who are creating work outside the traditional large company setting - and, in many cases, forming their own companies - will take place from June 26 - July 7 at The Joyce Theater.
