The disappointment of WAAPA’s 2020 mid-year musical being cancelled was but a distant memory as they roared back with an energetic rendition of CRAZY FOR YOU. This is WAAPA’s first production to be staged at His Majesty’s Theatre, and the cast and crew showcased the full suite of their talents in this up-beat and entertaining production.

CRAZY FOR YOU is a tough musical. It won a swag of awards upon its release in 1992, and it showcases some of the biggest songs the Gershwins wrote in one musical. Indeed, when WAAPA staged CRAZY FOR YOU in 2012, it was their highest grossing musical ever. They’re aiming high with their first production staged at His Majesty’s Theatre.

Industry panelists Scott Irgang, Ryan Conway and Carl Pasbjerg will discuss how to get shows and audiences back into our theaters in New York and nationwide. The discussion will be moderated by Tony Award-winning Commercial Theatrical Producer and EAG Council Member Margot Astrachan.

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced immersive outdoor experiences for summer 2021, with a casting sneak-peek. BTG will be releasing a complete season cast announcement at a later date. Berkshire Theatre Group will work in adherence with government guidelines and corresponding health and safety officials.

This 'classic whodunit' takes audiences on a fast paced thrill ride with a train full of suspects, and each one with an alibi! There are twists and turns aplenty in this intrigue-filled story, newly adapted for the stage from Agatha Christie's masterpiece by two-time Tony-nominated playwright Ken Ludwig. This unforgettable mystery takes audiences on a thrilling ride - Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, detective Hercule Poirot must identify the murderer - in case he or she decides to strike again.

Jessie Mueller was a little-known performer from Chicago when she made her Broadway debut in On a Clear Day You Can See Forever in 2011. Since then, she has taken Broadway by storm, appearing in three Broadway revivals (Nice Work If You Can Get It, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Carousel) and creating two original characters (Beautiful and Waitress)- the former of which earned her a Tony Award in 2014.

The Ogunquit Playhouse has announced an exciting lineup of shows for its 88th season that includes the Northeast regional premiere of the hilarious dark comedy The War of the Roses, a new play based on the novel by Warren Adler and helmed by Tony Award-winner Jason Alexander, and the world premiere of the funny and heartwarming musical adaptation of Mr. Holland's Opus, helmed by Tony Award-winner BD Wong. The season opens with the high-energy musical sensation Dirty Dancing -The Classic Story on Stage based on the smash-hit film, then continues with a stunning revival of the Tony Award-winning, all-Gershwin, tap dancing extravaganza Crazy for You, and the exhilarating Broadway hit musical based on the lives of Grammy Award-winning husband-and-wife team Gloria and Emilio Estefan, On Your Feet!.
