The acclaimed London revival of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, staged to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens' birth, opens tonight in the Westn End after a successful run at the Landor Theatre in south London.

Following its run at the Landor Theatre, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, based on Dickens' final unfinished novel, with book, music and lyrics by Rupert Holmes, directed by Matthew Gould, gets a 4-week season at the Arts Theatre from tonight, Friday 18 May - Sunday 17 June. The opening night is on Tuesday 22 May at 7.30pm.

For the very first time, two-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera brings her concert, CHITA RIVERA: MY BROADWAY, to The New Jersey Performing Arts Center in the intimate setting of The Chase Room and will perform songs from her legendary Broadway career. She will perform two shows only at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM. All tickets are $50 (general admission) and can be ordered by calling 1-888-GO-NJPAC or at www.njpac.org. In the fall of 2012, Roundabout will present The Mystery of Edwin Drood, starring Chita Rivera, featuring book, music and lyrics by Rupert Holmes, musical direction by Paul Gemignani and direction by Scott Ellis. Winter 2013 will bring Picnic by William Inge, directed by Sam Gold. The third production announced is The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin by Steven Levenson, directed by Scott Ellis.
