The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Jonathan Silverstein, Artistic Director/Damon Chua, Executive Director) today announced that Marry Me A Little, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, conceived by Craig Lucas and Norman Rene, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein, starring Lauren Molina and Jason Tam, will extend for one additional week to accommodate unprecedented demand. Marry Me A Little kicks off their 2012 - '13 season and will be followed by a newly revised version of the 1991 play, The Old Boy by A.R. Gurney. Tonight, Monday 9/17 is the final performance for the Revolve Productions presentation of "PIECES" by Chris Phillips winner of an "EXCELLENCE IN PLAYWRITING" Award, for the 16th New York International Fringe Festival. The acclaimed play was named an early selection for this FringeNYC Encore Series. It was one of the four shows that were selected for the early announcement during the Festival, by a group of seven theatre producers led by Darren Lee Cole. MATILDA Extends Through December 2013 in UK; New Block of Tickets On-Sale Tomorrow

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Jenn Thompson, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company "dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit," has scheduled a post performance discussion with the production design team and cast of Brian Friel's Lovers, the first play of the company's 20th Anniversary Season, on Thursday, October 4th following the 7:30 p.m. performance. The designers will each share their thoughts on their concept for the show and how they collaborated with the director to bring his vision to the stage. Canadian Opera Company Will Not Include Radio Broadcasts in Upcoming Season

The Canadian Opera Company has announced that, after four months of negotiations, the company's offer to the membership of Canadian Actors' Equity Association and the Toronto Musicians Association has been rejected. An agreement would have allowed the COC to continue to produce, in partnership with the CBC, broadcasts of the COC's entire 2012/2013 season on CBC Radio 2 and Radio-Canada's Espace Musique. The episode, titled "Twenty-Five Acts," centers on the author of a best-selling erotic novel (Anna Chlumsky) who accuses a high-profile talk show host (Roger Bart) of rape. The SVU detectives face an uphill battle when they find that her account of the rape is exactly like the chapters in her book, and along with the DA's office (Esparza), they struggle to keep the case from turning into a media circus. Tickets for MATILDA THE MUSICAL on Broadway go on sale to the general public today, October 1 at 9 AM at www.telecharge.com.
