Gamm Reveals Changes to Education Department Leadership

David M. Wax, managing director for The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm), announces the resignation of Education Director Steve Kidd, effective August 25. Kidd, who is also a Gamm resident actor, will be joining the faculty at Moses Brown School in the fall, where he will teach performance studies and direct the upper-school theater productions. Education and Outreach Coordinator Susie Schutt will be promoted to Education Director upon Kidd's departure, ensuring a smooth transition and continued growth of the theater's robust education programming. Rising Sun Performance Company's Founding Artistic Director announced today that their upcoming production of 'Donkey' by John Patrick Bray is slated to be published and licensed with Next Stage Press. This is will be Bray's third publishing with Next Stage Press, Bray's other plays available for licensing with Next Stage Press include Hound and Liner Notes, which were also produced at the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (2009, 2010); Trickster at the Gate, and short plays in 64 Squares and Game Night. Marin Shakespeare Company celebrates its 25th Silver Season in 2014 and opens its outdoor festival with a classic production of 'As You Like It.' Marin Shakespeare established its summertime Shakespeare festival tradition in 1990 with this exuberant comedy set in the Forest of Arden, which features Shakespeare's oft-quoted speech 'All the world's a stage.' Thanks to a special 25th Silver Season gift from an anonymous donor, when audiences attend any performance of 'As You Like It' this summer, all tickets are 'Pay As You Like It.' Grant Turner Named New Co-Artistic Director of Portland Shakespeare Project

Portland Shakespeare Project (PSP) has announced that Grant Turner, former Artistic Director of Northwest Classical Theatre Company (NWCTC), is joining the company as Co-Artistic Director.
