Based on the bestselling autobiography by Corrie ten Boon, THE HIDING PLACE is the true story of a family that fought the Nazi madness with the only weapon they had: love. With the WWII Nazi invasion of Holland, the ten Boom family joins the underground resistance to help save Jewish families, but when they are arrested and imprisoned in concentration camps themselves, they're left with nothing to cling to but their faith. During a recent stop in Atlanta on his National Tour of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Broadway star Harvey Fierstein made a stop at the Aurora Theatre for the first regional production of his show, A CATERED AFFAIR, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post. Tim Fudge Does Double Duty on 'Sanders Family Christmas' Backstage at the Barn

In this musical sequel to Smoke On the Mountain, the Sanders family returns to Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, home of the Mount Pleasant Pickle Factory for Christmas Eve in 1941. Reverend Oglethorpe, of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Chruch, has invited them to sing and witness, getting his congregation into the down-home holiday spirit before the boys, including one of the Sanders' own, are shipped off to serve in World War II. The show's score features more than two dozen Christmas carols - many of them vintage hymns - and hilarious yuletide stories from the Sanders family keep the audience laughing, clapping and singing along with some bluegrass Christmas favorites. Pill & Falco Team up for WIDE NIGHT Off-Broadway

Variety reports today that THE MIRACLE WORKER star Alison Pill will Join stage and screen vet Edie Falco on stage off-Broadway in the Naked Angels' production of THIS WIDE NIGHT, by Chloe Moss. The production will feature direction by Anne Kauffman (Stunning, The Thugs) and is set to open sometime this spring at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Theatre Row. The production will begin previews on May 8 and open May 16. The Naked Angels Theatre Company is currently represented on Broadway with NEXT FALL, co-produced by Elton John and David Furnish.
