After a successful June, the Bryant Park Reading Room has announced July’s lineup during a monumental year celebrating Bryant Park’s 30th anniversary. “The Bachelor’s” Matt James joins this month’s Author lineup on July 13 at 12:30pm with his new book “First Impressions: Off Screen Conversations with a BACHELOR on Race, Family, and Forgiveness.'

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that WICKED, Minneapolis’ most popular musical will return to Minneapolis this summer to kick off the 2022-2023 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season Wednesday, July 27 to Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022 at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis).

SFDanceworks has announced the program for its fifth season featuring world and regional premieres by Edward Clug, Babatunji Johnson, Laura O’Malley, Dani Rowe and Yin Yue, as well as a revival of Martha Graham’s classic work, Deep Song.

After teasing their first new music in over nine years, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are officially back with a new album and single to share with the masses. The Music Academy of the West celebrates its milestone 75th anniversary season with eight weeks of live events at its picturesque Miraflores campus and throughout scenic Santa Barbara, California this summer (June 15–Aug 6).

Ahead of the May 13 release of their new Nonesuch album, Dropout Boogie, The Black Keys have announced two high-profile events to celebrate the project. On May 11, the duo of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney will perform at Los Angeles’ famed Troubadour and offer an international livestream of the intimate show in this 500-capacity venue exclusively via Flymachine. To celebrate its 30th anniversary season, The Heart of  America Shakespeare Festival will once again produce a live performance this summer.  

Most recently, The Black Keys released the Super Deluxe 10th anniversary edition of their landmark seventh studio album, El Camino in late 2021. El Camino was produced by Danger Mouse and The Black Keys and was recorded in the band’s then-new hometown of Nashville during the spring of 2011. Check out the tour dates now!

Data Lords is a new double-album by Grammy Award-winning composer and bandleader Maria Schneider.  Inspired by conflicting relationships between the digital and natural worlds, the recording features Schneider's acclaimed orchestra of 18 world-class musicians. 

Minnesota Orchestra Creative Partner for Summer at Orchestra Hall Jon Kimura Parker and President and CEO Michelle Miller Burns announced plans today for Summer at Orchestra Hall, a new take on the Orchestra's summer festival that will run from Friday, July 17, through Sunday, August 9, celebrating the Orchestra's home in the city and its proximity to the revitalized Peavey Plaza.

Tippet Rise Art Center today announced the full details of its fifth annual concert season, expanded this year to encompass two dozen wide-ranging programs from July 10 through August 29, 2020. Located on a 12,000-acre working ranch nestled at the foot of Montana's Beartooth Mountains, the art center celebrates the union of music, land, art, and architecture with large-scale sculptures and innovative architectural structures sited across its hills and rolling meadows and seven weeks of concerts performed in the acoustically enveloping Olivier Music Barn and outdoors under the big sky.

As part of Carnegie Hall's 2020-2021 season, announced on January 28, the Boston Symphony Orchestra will perform three programs on October 26, 2020, and April 14 and 15, 2021, led by BSO Music Director Andris Nelsons. These programs will also be featured in the BSO's 2020-2021 season at Symphony Hall in Boston. Mr. Nelsons and the BSO will announce complete details of the 2020-21 season in April.

Tony Award & Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan will return to Broadway with the second of his two exhilarating dramas celebrating Lyndon B. Johnson's legacy: THE GREAT SOCIETY. Get to know the cast below as they begin Broadway performances!

Leon Kobrin's rediscovered 1912 play BREACH OF PROMISE, a darkly comic slice of tenement life in New York City, will be presented tomorrow evening, July 31st at 7 pm at the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research in a newly commissioned English translation (from the original Yiddish) by writer/director Allen Lewis Rickman.
