Chichester's Festival 2012 continues with two productions by Alan Ayckbourn, one of Britain's most popular and acclaimed playwrights. Surprises is a brand new play, presented alongside his award- winning classic comedy Absurd Person Singular. These two plays are co-productions with Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough, and feature one company of actors. Surprises plays 8 August - 8 September and Absurd Person Singular runs 10 August - 8 September at the Minerva Theatre, Chichester. (more...)

Award-winning actress Janie Dee returns to Curve to play the title role in Artistic Director Paul Kerryson's production of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! This production reunites Dee and Kerryson following their collaboration on The King and I in 2010. The production opens on Wednesday 5 December, with previews from 30 November, and runs until 12 January 2013. (more...)

It's not an easy thing to wake me up early! I work the night shift. This nomination really means a lot to me because I really love this play. It has been a very big part of my life for quite a while so to have it recognized like this is a thrill. Gurney's 1991 play, The Old Boy, replacing Hal Robinson. Performances of this Off-Broadway Limited Engagement begin February 12th and continue through March 24th only. The epic story of King Henry V's battle with the French during the Hundred Years' War comes alive for the first time at the Folger Theatre, in William Shakespeare's historical drama Henry V. The production, directed by Robert Richmond (Othello and Henry VIII at the Folger), stars Zach Appelman (War Horse on Broadway) in his Folger Theatre debut as Henry V, and will run from January 22 - March 3, 2013. Surprises is a brand new play, presented alongside his award- winning classic comedy Absurd Person Singular. These two plays are co-productions with Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough, and feature one company of actors.
