The show previews November 5 - 12, (Press Night is Friday, November 12th), opens on Saturday, November 13th and runs through December 19, 2010: Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Civic Theatre Supports 'It Gets Better', 11/7

Civic Theatre of Allentown is asking anyone who wants to be a part of the Lehigh Valley edition of the national 'It Gets Better' project to come to Civic's Theatre514 on Sunday, November 7th from 2-5pm. The 'It Gets Better' project was launched to encourage and support GLBT youth, a reminder that all kinds of people from all kinds of places are united in an effort to raise awareness for tolerance and rights for all. Hodgson, Managing Director of General Atlantic LLC, and head of the board of the Echoing Green Foundation, a provider of fellowship support for non-profit entrepreneurs, has succeeded Peter J. Solomon as Chairman of the Manhattan Theatre Club Board of Directors. This season, along with Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas, which runs on the Hubbard Stage, the Alley Theatre will once again present a second holiday production, David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries on the Neuhaus Stage. Alley Artist Todd Waite will reprise his role as 'Crumpet the Elf' in the outlandish, and true, chronicles of David Sedaris' experience as a worker in Macy's SantaLand display. Also this season, for select performances Alley Artist Paul Hope will appear as 'Crumpet the Elf': December 8 at 7:30 PM, December 9 at 7:30 PM, December 10 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, December 11 at 2:30 PM.
