In anticipation of the forecasted snow, the Ford's Theatre Society offers patrons the option to exchange previously purchased tickets to this weekend's performances of The Rivalry (February 5, at 7:30 p.m.; February 6, at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and February 7, at 2:30 p.m.) for performances later in the run. Additionally, the theatre has added a performance of The Rivalry at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 14 to accommodate patrons. Those interested in exchanging should contact their point of purchase directly. All exchanges must be finalized prior to February 11. (more...)

Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post this morning that heavy-hitting producers Fran and Barry Weissler have invested $400,000 into THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, and writes that 'If the reviews are strong, they'll move it to a small Broadway house, very possibly before this year's Tony cutoff date, should a theater become available.' Theatre agent John Buzzetti has joined William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME) as head of the agency's theatre department, it was announced today in a joint statement by the WME Board.
