WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director and Loop Executive Producer Terry Martin today announced the line-up for the 2016 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival, February 25 - March 6, 2016, at the Addison Theatre Centre. Six world premieres highlight this year's diverse Festival as well as 2 one-woman cabarets, 4 dance works, 1 circus act, 3 solo shows, 1 musical reading, 2 play readings, 9 theatre productions, 1 interdisciplinary piece, 1 spoken word performance, a 24-hour play festival, and many returning favorites. The Festival is made possible, in part, through the generous support of The Town of Addison and the Texas Commission on the Arts as well as media sponsors, TheaterJones.com and the Dallas Observer. BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Donald R. Seawell, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Broadway producer and the first to bring the Royal Shakespeare Company to New York, died today, September 30, 2015. He was 103.

Summer is on its way out, but Connecticut theaters are heating up with some exciting offerings this fall. Theater lovers have the best of both worlds here in the Nutmeg State: Broadway is just down the road, but we never even have to leave home to see exceptional theater thanks to the bevy of professional theaters that call Connecticut home too. This season looks particularly exciting and I'll share with you what I am most looking forward to reviewing this fall. There are other great shows scheduled this fall as well as through the 2016 season, but in the interest of space, I will concentrate on top picks for this fall.

Alex Turner Productions today announces the full cast for the UK premiere of Tennessee Williams' One Arm adapted for the stage by Moises Kaufman. Josh Seymour directs Joe Jameson (The Divinity Student), Georgia Kerr (The Girl in the French Quarter), Peter Hannah (The Guard), James Tucker (Lester) and Tom Varey (Ollie Olsen). The company members play multiple roles around the central character of Ollie Olsen - characters weaving through the complex tapestry of his life. The production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 12 June, with previews from 10 June, and runs until 4 July.

Central Works concludes the 2014 season with 'Recipe,' a profoundly funny new work by Michael Gene Sullivan, opening with a press Night on Saturday October 18 at 8 pm and running through November 23 at the historic Berkeley City Club. Sullivan serves up the laughs in this delicious take on a circle of sweet old grandmotherly bakers, who just happen to be dedicated to the armed overthrow of the United States government. But baking pies and cakes isn't enough to satisfy these four intrepid refugees from the sixties, and their burning desire to 'Up the Revolution!'
