Guest speaker will be Howard Sherman, executive director of the American Theatre Wing. The symposium will be a free-ranging discussion about the playwright, his influences and his impact on the modern theatre.

Parison Jr., presents the world premiere of Mark St. Germain's new play, Freud's Last Session, from June 10 through 28 at BSC Stage 2 theatre (36 Linden Street, Pittsfield). Starring Mark H. Alan Ayckbourn's comic trilogy of plays, THE NORMAN CONQUESTS, will come to Broadway directly following its sold out critically acclaimed run in London. The production, the latest success for The Old Vic Theatre Company under the artistic leadership of Kevin Spacey, will play for 16 weeks only. THE NORMAN CONQUESTS, directed by Matthew Warchus, opens Thursday, April 23 at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street). Previews begin Tuesday, April 7.
The Wilshire Theatre Beverly Hills, 8440 Wilshire Boulevard; Beverly Hills, CA 90211, will open its doors to the general public on Sunday, September 21, 2008, after being closed for several months for completion of Phase I of the historic venue's Revitalization Project. Corky Hale Productions will present a star-studded musical event, entitled, 'It's Magic!
