The five-time Tony Award nominated musical ROCK OF AGES moved from The Brooks Atkinson Theatre to the Helen Hayes Theatre, opening March 24, 2011. ROCK OF AGES played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011.

Ever wonder what the rockers of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES do in their free time? Or at least during intermission? Of late, the cast was hard at work on a new web series, The Sardi's Redemption, a parody inspired by the Hollywood Blockbuster, The Shawshank Redemption.

Genson Blimline Joins Cast of ROCK OF AGES; Mitchell Jarvis to Return in February

Producers of the five-time Tony Award nominated hit musical ROCK OF AGES have announced that Genson Blimline will take over the role of "Lonny" role beginning today, Monday, December 19. Mitchell Jarvis, who has starred in ROCK OF AGES since it opened on Broadway in 2009 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, is taking a leave of absence from the show to take part in the Alley Theatre production of The Toxic Avenger in Houston, Texas. Jarvis is scheduled to return to Rock of Ages on February 20, 2012.

The classic rock love story of the decade erupts into Broadway's Best Party, all to the sounds of such feel-good, sing-out-loud songs as 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn', 'I Wanna Know What Love Is', 'Here I Go Again', 'Don't Stop Believin' and more. Producers of the five-time Tony Award nominated hit musical, ROCK OF AGES announced today that Emily Padgett - who rocked out as 'Sherrie' in during the show's run at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre - will return to take over the lead role on Monday, November 7, 2011. Rebecca Faulkenberry, who has performed the role of 'Sherrie' since ROCK OF AGES moved to the Helen Hayes Theatre on March 24, 2011, will play her final performance on Sunday, November 6.

Jeremy Woodard to Take on Stacee Jaxx in ROCK OF AGES, 10/3

Woodard has understudied the role since performances began on Broadway on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. In addition to ROCK OF AGES, Woodard's theatre credits include Glory Days, Hairspray, and Miss Saigon. MiG Ayesa, who has performed the role of 'Stacee Jaxx' since ROCK OF AGES moved to the Helen Hayes Theatre on March 24, 2011, will play his final performance on Sunday, September 25. During the interim week, the role will be covered by an understudy.
