Shattered Globe Theatre will continue its 2016-17 season with the Chicago premiere of Meg Miroshnik's drama THE TALL GIRLS, an ensemble piece about five young women in the 1930s rural Midwest who discover a way to escape their crumbling town - by playing basketball.

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, and rediscovering one of the West End's most popular dramatists of the 1930s and 1940s, Dr Angelus by James Bridie starring David Rintoul and Malcolm Rennie plays at the acclaimed Finborough Theatre on Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 27 November 2016 (Press Night: Monday, 28 November 2016 at 7.30pm).

Austin Shakespeare brings Noel Coward's classic comedy Present Laughter to the Rollins Studio Theatre at The Long Center for the Performing Arts from November 16, 2016 - December 4, 2016. Chaos, romance and dazzling dialogue are shaken up to concoct this perfect cocktail for the holiday season! Marc Pouhe stars as the 1930's matinee idol, Garry Essendine, who is self-obsessed, slipping into middle age, and still surrounded by admiring women. John Tiffany returns to the West End for the first time since the international critical hit Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts One and Two, to bring his acclaimed production of The Glass Menagerie to the Duke of York's Theatre for a limited season.

Harry Enfield will play studio boss Herman Glogauer in Christopher Hart's adaptation of Kaufman and Hart's classic Hollywood comedy, Once in a Lifetime. Enfield is joined in the cast of Richard Jones' production by John Marquez as George and Claudie Blakley as May, with further casting still to be announced.

Aurora Theatre Company proudly opens its 25th anniversary season with a revival of the play that started it all, DEAR MASTER. Joy Carlin (The How and The Why, Talley's Folly, Jack Goes Boating) helms this elegant portraitfeaturing Bay Area favorite Michael Ray Wisely (The Letters, The Arsonists) and Aurora's first leading lady Kimberly King (Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance), wife of Aurora co-founder Ken Grantham, who played Flaubert in the original production. DEAR MASTER plays September 2 through October 2 at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley. Punchdrunk have today announced a brand new production of their award-winning theatrical experience, SLEEP NO MORE, premiering in Shanghai this year. In December 2016, the doors will open to the "McKinnon Hotel" in the city's Jing'an District, ushering audiences into this visceral, tactile and darkly cinematic telling of Shakespeare's classic tragedy, Macbeth.

The Classical Theatre of Harlem (CTH) (Ty Jones, Producing Artistic Director; David Roberts, Managing Director), will open its spring season with their 2nd Annual Spring Fundraiser, April 11, 2016. Following successful tours of Alan Ayckbourn's Absent Friends and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot in 2015, today London Classic Theatre Artistic Director Michael Cabot announces a new production of Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party. Cabot directs a cast including Jonathan Ashley (Goldberg), Gareth Bennett-Ryan (Stanley), Cheryl Kennedy (Meg), Ged McKenna (Petey), Declan Rodgers (McCann) and Imogen Wilde (Lulu). The production tours to 37 venues around the UK this spring/summer, starting at Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham on 17 February.
