The event will take place today, July 9 in Shubert Alley (located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). Feinstein's at Loews Regency will continue its Summer 2011 season with the debut of three-time Tony Award nominated Broadway star Marc Kudisch on July 17 and 18. 'What Makes Me Tick' - his debut at the club - is an evening of casual conversation and great music, featuring popular selections from Broadway, country, and folk to fusion and jazz, all rolled into one big jam fest. Marc commented 'this concert is an attempt to understand how I got here and why I'm driven to be here: the inner working of what makes me tick,' says Kudisch. Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the first round of 2011 Edgerton Foundation New American Play awards granted to TCG member theaters across the U.S. The awards, totaling $485,000, allow 19 theaters the opportunity for extra time in the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, helping to extend the life of the play after its first run.
