Peter Pan, like its namesake, is a tale which never ages. Children and adults alike have all fallen under the spell of Neverland, a place where children can fly and exciting, frightening adventures happen every day.



In 1985 Piers Chater Robinson adapted J.M. Barrie's book for the stage, and now, 25 years later, his innovative Peter Pan musical score is well known and loved, performed in professional and amateur productions worldwide and is quickly becoming the most popular musical version of Peter Pan internationally. CYT is pleased to be selected as one of the first theaters in Chicagoland to produce it!



Join all your favorite characters: Peter Pan, Wendy, John, Michael, the dastardly Captain Hook and his sidekick Smee, Tiger Lily, the Lost Boys, Pirates, Neverland Indians, Fairies, Nana the pet dog and, of course, that scary crocodile as CYT travels to Neverland like you've never experienced it before.

This just in- FINDING NEVERLAND has found its new leading man! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, there are just over two weeks left to see Tony Award®-nominee and star of TV's 'Glee,' Matthew Morrison as Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie in the smash hit, record-breaking Broadway musical Finding Neverland. Morrison's final performance will be Sunday, January 24. Before he goes, however, audiences will have only one week to catch Morrison on stage again with his opening night co-star, Emmy Award®-winner Kelsey Grammer, who returns to the show on Tuesday, January 19. (Grammer was previously announced to begin his run on January 15, however, his engagement will now commence on Monday, January 19.) Directed by former resident director John Young, the production has been created with the advice of Manchester-based Rethink Rebuild, a Syrian refugee community group. The production plays at Theatr Clwyd and Chapter Cardiff and tours to local secondary schools before final performances at the Good Chance Theatre in Calais - the first play to be invited to perform at the venue. Taproot Theatre Company's Acting Studio is offering six classes for students, adults and seniors that begin in February. Elementary and high school students will build detailed characters and learn to work as an ensemble as they rehearse for a final performance in TTC's Isaac Studio Theatre. Adults will study the fundamentals of acting and make bold character decisions as they learn to play off other actors. Seniors can choose between a class that will dive into scene studies and character work or an improv class geared towards those with Early Stage Memory Loss. These classes are taught by Seattle area theatre professionals Karen Lund, Pam Nolte, Rob Martin, Nikki Visel, Lorrie Fargo and Rick Hornor. Kitchen Theatre Company is celebrating its 25th season in 2015-2016, and the centerpiece is PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, a play that is a celebration of live theater and ensemble story telling: a great adventure with music told by a cast of twelve actors and a 'let's put on a show' spirit. As the curtain falls on the 2015-16 pantomime season, Evolution Productions announce record-breaking figures, demonstrating beyond doubt that the pantomime renaissance has come of age.  With The Marlowe Theatre leading the way with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs playing at 99.06% capacity with the number of tickets sold a stunning 95,685 (nearly double the city's population), box office figures over their seven shows across the country came in at 91% attendance, an increase across the board of 10.3% in financial terms on the previous year.
