"Boeing, Boeing," written by Marc Camoletti and directed by Mark Breiner, tells the tale of Bernard, an American playboy in swinging 60s Paris who juggles 3 flight attendant fiancees-one American, one German, and one Italian. With the help of airline timetables and a phenomenally efficient housekeeper, he convinces each that she is his only love. But then a visit from an old school chum and a fast new Boeing jet puts everyone on a collision course, hurtling Bernard's cunning deception towards disaster, and provides lift-off for laugh after laugh. Featuring Beth Linzer, Joanne Rooney, Seth Rohrbach, mark Saylor, Kelly Rohrbach and Annie Locke, "Boeing, Boeing" is the perfect comedy to brighten the winter blues. (more...)

Belgian husband-wife team An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx launched their first collection in Paris in 1998 after graduating from the Fashion School of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. They launched a shoe collection in 2003 and naturally segued into a lingerie line three years later. The pair is known for their deft contrasts in fabrics, textures, and colors, often layering silky lingerie-inspired pieces with tailored jackets, reworked white cotton button-downs, or dramatic capes. Besides ready-to-wear collections, Aganovich is known for their portrait collection. The Aganovich portraits are an ongoing series by anarchist illustrator Clifford Harper based on an original deck of anarchist collector's cards that he did early in his career featuring personalities as diverse as John Cage, Emma Goldman and Kotoku Shusui. The Aganovich portraits have slowly proliferated. Some of those portrayed have come and stayed, some have come and gone and others have simply provided inspiration along the way but all have contributed in some degree to the Aganovich story. Students participate in master classes taught by outstanding professionals in the dance world in seven different disciplines. School directors, teachers and parents are invited to observe the classes. Just announced is news that the Cole Porter classic, Can-Can, will kick up its heels in a new production to land on Broadway in Spring 2014. Presented by Jonathan Burrows, nephew of the musical's original book writer Abe Burrows, the new production features a revised book by David Lee (Two By Two and Gigi at Reprise, TV's "Frasier" and "Cheers") and Joel Fields (How I Fell in Love at Abingdon Theatre Company, TV's "Ugly Betty' and 'Raising the Bar'). Lee directs the production, featuring choreography byPatti Colombo (Peter Pan) and musical direction by Tony Award nominee Steve Orich (Jersey Boys). Prior to the Broadway production, a workshop will take place in New York in October 2013. Casting has yet to be confirmed. (more...)

The Oracle is set to Stravinsky's seminal composition for the infamous 1913 ballet The Rite of Spring, which caused riots at its Paris premiere. The Oracleexplores the conflicting forces of nature and man, masculinity and femininity, violence and nurturing, strength and vulnerability. An intense solo for virtuosic performer Paul White, one of Australia's greatest dancers and incoming member of Pina Bausch's Tanztheater Wuppertal, The Oracle includes haunting visual and set designer by Régis Lansac. The U.S. premiere will take place on February 5 at 7:30pm at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ, as part of a seven-city U.S. tour. (more...)

H&M announced the names of the eight finalists of the H&M Design Award 2013. The finalists, invited to take part from nineteen design schools in Europe, were selected by an H&M jury led by Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's Head of Design. Each wins €5,000, and a place in the final, presided over by a grand jury of fashion experts. The winner will receive a prize of €50,000, and the chance to show his or her collection at Mercedes-Benz Stockholm Fashion Week on January 29, when the winning name will be revealed. The winner will also develop selected pieces from his or her collection to be sold in selected H&M stores this autumn. (more...)

('Fipco') has commenced an action in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice against BHP Billiton Canada Inc. and certain of its affiliates (collectively, 'BHP Billiton'), the Company and its subsidiary, Harry Winston Diamond Mines Ltd., as well as against Dr. Stewart Blusson ('Blusson') and Archon Minerals Limited ('Archon'). The claim alleges that the offers made by BHP Billiton to Fipco do not comply with Fipco's pre-emptive rights under the joint venture agreements for the Ekati Mine, and that the Company was complicit in this alleged non-compliance.
