From One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish,  Blue Fish to There's a Wocket in my Pocket, Dr. Seuss never did fail to amuse children. In 2000, Seussical the Musical debuted on Broadway. Written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, the musical incorporates all the memory-making Dr. Seuss stories such as Horton Hears a Who, Gertrude McFuzz, The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and Oh, The Thinks You Can Think! Seussical the Musical was written to carry on the legacy of Dr. Seuss and to grant good times to anyone who sees it, and Susquehanna Stage Company located in Marietta, Pennsylvania, hopes to do just that. Ragtag Theatre Company, is a Commedia dell' Arte troupe residing at The Soho Playhouse dedicated to creating fresh and unique live LGBTQ theatre designed specifically for the entire family. Think DRAG for kids. In short, they do fairytales. But not yo mama's fairytales -- they do fractured fairytales that spoof and riff off of pop culture... BWW Blog: Hannah Love - Summer of Studying, Sweating, and Singing
by Guest Blogger: Hannah Love - Aug 18, 2016

Summer is officially over for me, and I'm immersed into the school year again. Summer classes filled my summer until the second week of July (don't worry, I took these classes to lighten my junior year), babysitting was a routine job for me, and I was in a production of Shrek the Musical at a local community theatre.  (more...)
