This new solo show with original music, written and performed by Norman P. Dixon, will play one preview performance on Friday, August 6 at 8pm and is set to open at the NoHo Arts Center on Saturday, August 7 at 8pm. The engagement will run through Sunday, September 12 only. The Marvin Hamlisch musical tells the story of seventeen 'wannabe' Broadway dancers, auditioning for eight limited spots on a chorus line. The Rep's Teen Stage Ensemble is a group comprised of 16 Seacoast teenagers who all share the same passion for theatre. Through workshops and exercises the Teen Stage Ensemble (or TSE) works to produce a completely original show each year. (more...)

Headlining the talented array of solo artists assembled will be Tony Award® nominee Marc Kudisch (Broadway's 9 to 5, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, andThoroughly Modern Millie) with his What Makes Me Tick cabaret coming straight from Feinstein's. Bernadette Peters Preps for 'Stella Is A Star' Release Next Month

As previously reported, Broadway star, Tony, Grammy and Golden Globe Award winner, Bernadette Peters will pen a second children's book, Stella is a Star, set for publishing and release this spring by Blue Apple Books. The book, inspired by Peters' dog Stella, will feature illustrations by Liz Murphy. Proceeds will go to Broadway Barks, the charitable organization co-founded by Peters and Mary Tyler Moore over over 10 year ago in support of animal shelters. (more...)
