The non-profit organization, Healthy Sandtown, will hold the Sandtown Health and Wellness Fair today, September 13, 2014 at Sandtown Center Pavilion, 1510 Sandbay Dr., SW, Atlanta, GA between 9AM - 3PM. The Sandtown Health & Wellness Fair is a project designed to bring Atlanta residents, especially those in the Sandtown Community, together under the notion that healthy families build strong communities. Keynote speakers at the Sandtown Health and Wellness Fair include Fulton County District 5 Commissioner Emma Darnell, Georgia Representative Roger Bruce, Fulton County Chairman John Eaves, radio-personality Michael McFadden and the MCs are Ms. Georgia Plus America 2013 Cha'Kiva Latrell and business development consultant and motivational speaker Mr. Edgar McLeod Baines. Additional invited guests include Congressman John Lewis, President of Atlanta City Council Caesar Mitchell, and Mayor Kasim Reed. Sigurd Jonny 'Sig' Hansen is an American Captain of the fishing vessel Northwestern. Sig Hansen knows more about fishing than just about anyone and will share his tales at The Ridgefield Playhouse tonight, September 13, at 7:30 p.m. Sig is also an author and star of the reality TV series Deadliest Catch, which portrays the events that take place on fishing boats in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab fishing season. Others from Deadliest Catch will be joining him on stage to share their stories as well. Since Way Off Broadway's producers began revamping its Children's Theatre seasons in 2011 and 2012, some of the most popular productions have been those which have come straight from the Disney Vault. Over the last several season, the Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway has produced productions of some of Disney's most popular movie titles including 101 Dalmatians, Cinderella, Aladdin, and, most recently, Peter Pan.
