Village Theatre KIDSTAGE is excited to announce its unique holiday break camp offerings this season. Helping kids stay busy during the holidays, KIDSTAGE in Everett is offering young people, grades 4-12, exciting Holiday Break Camps such as the essential "Ensemble Audition Prep Workshop" and "The Business of Show Business."

Ensemble Audition Prep Workshop (Grade 4-8)
Tuesday-Wednesday, December 29-30, 2009 - 11:00 AM-3:30 PM
Tuition: $125
You, your song, and monologue combined into a fabulous two-minute performance! Develop your audition skills in this intensive camp and get help with monologue and song selection. Improve your audition skills and make your next audition smooth, low-stress and unforgettable.

The Business of Show Business (Grades 8-12)
Monday, December 28, 2009 - 11:00 AM-3:30 PM
Tuition: $75*
A panel of experts including Steve Tomkins (Village Theatre Artistic Director), Suzie Haufle (Village Theatre Casting and Company Manager), Ryah Nixon (Actor, currently starring in Meet Me in St. Louis) and more will impart what every aspiring actor needs to know:
· Audition prep help for college, conservatory, or professional shows.

· Finding the right roles and how to get them.

· Creating fabulous headshots and resumes. (Headshot sitting times TBA)

· When and how to join a union.


*Camp will conclude with a question/answer panel in small break-out sessions. An additional headshot sitting will be available-fees not included in tuition.

These one and two-day Holiday Break Camps make a great gift and take place between December 28-30. They range in price from $75-$125. Payment plans are available for all KIDSTAGE programs and financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Receive a 10 percent discount when registering more than one student from the same family or when registering for more than one class. One discount per family. Each registered student will receive one half-price single ticket to any Village Theatre Mainstage production currently on sale.
