On June 7th at 7:00pm, Forward Flux Productions will present a reading of Lia Romeo's new dark comedy, "Ends of the Earth" at the XIV Flux Salon gathering in Seattle. The Salon will be held at a secret location in Capitol Hill (venue details shared after ticket purchase). Romeo wrote Forward Flux's hit production of "Green Whales" seen at Gay City in Fall of 2015, which was included on critic David-Edward Hughes' list of the top ten productions in Seattle for 2015. In addition to the reading, there will be a full bar, a large-scale video installation from Catherine Roach and Dylan Shippee, and live musical performances from local hip-hop stars Diogenes and Spekulation. The Flux Salon presents new works by fresh voices in intimate spaces throughout Seattle.

"Ends of the Earth" take a darkly funny look at a young couple grappling with starting a family in the face of climate change. "The summers are getting hotter, winters are getting colder, and coyotes have taken up residence in the backyard. Should Dennis and Julie really bring a child into this world?"

The staged reading will be presented by Matt Aguayo, LoraBeth Barr, Jason Sanford and Skylar Tatro. It is directed by Brandon J. Simmons.

The Flux Salon is an opportunity to explore neighborhoods in Seattle while meeting cool people and engaging with fresh new art. Tickets start at just $5 and are only available in advance at forwardflux.com
