Tacoma Little Theatre presents Peter Nichols' A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, directed by Marilyn Bennett, on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 7:30pm.

Married couple Bri (Jed Slaughter) and Sheila (Deya Ozburn) have a daughter named Josephine who was born with severe disabilities. Although the wheelchair-bound Joe is unable to move or speak, Sheila insists there is some possibility her daughter could get better. Bri, who deals with his emotional suffering through vicious black humor, has no such hopes and grows increasingly preoccupied with horrific fantasies about ending the family's suffering once and for all. Also featuring Kathi Aleman as Grace, and Wade Hicks as Freddie.

When originally produced in 1967, this dark story was extremely controversial, but lauded as an immensely moving and profound play about love and marriage.

Tickets for the December 1, 2016 performance at 7:30pm are $10.00 for non TLT Members, and FREE for those who are members. Tickets may be purchased online at www.tacomalittletheatre.com, or by calling our Box Office at (253) 272-2281.
