The Tacoma theater community is coming together to support the victims of the Orlando massacre with a special one night only staged reading of The Laramie Project on Sunday, June 26th at 7:30pm. The event will be held at Tacoma Little Theatre. The brainchild of Rachel Fitzgerald, this benefit came from a simple question. "What can I do?"

"What can I do to make a difference in the lives that this tragedy has touched? Well, I thought if I had that question, other people must as well. So, I contacted the major Tacoma theaters to see who else was interested." -Rachel Fitzgerald

The response has been outstanding. Tacoma Little Theatre stepped up right away to give us a home for the reading. 31 actors - the best of Tacoma's talent - have volunteered their time, and people are coming out of the proverbial woodwork to help out.

Featuring the talents of: Charlie Stevens, Christian Carvajal, Deya Ozburn, Hayden Pedersen, James Venturini, Jed Slaughter, Jeffery Swiney-Weaver, Jefri Peters, Jennifer King, Jeremy Thompson, John Munn, Kadi Burt, Karen Norlin Christensen, Katelyn Nicole, LaNita Hudson, Luke Amundson, Maggie Knott, Marcy Rodenborn, Rachel Fitzgerald, Rachel Lionheart, Russ Coffey, Scott Campbell, Shelby Isham, Steve Barnett, Susan Anderson-Newham, Syra Puett, Tyler Lydic, Wade Hicks, and Xander Layden.

We welcome you to join us on Sunday, June 26th at 7:30pm at Tacoma Little Theatre, 210 N I Street, Tacoma, Washington 98403. There is no admission for the event, however there will be an ask for donations to benefit Equality Institute of Florida and Rainbow House. Admission is on a first come, first sat basis.
