In the wake of disaster caused by Hurricane Sandy, The Seattle Theatre Group will donate $5 from each ticket purchased to the November Seattle performances by New York's beloved Dance Theatre of Harlem, starting today. The 43 year -old company, co-founded by Arthur Mitchell, and Cornish alum Karel Schook, will perform in Seattle at the Moore Theatre on November 16 & 17 only.

"The Seattle Theatre Group has incredible links to artists and arts organizations in the New York area and our hearts go out to everyone effected by this natural disaster," stated LaBelle. With an iconic New York institution such as Dance Theatre of Harlem coming to our city so soon, this is our way of connecting directly with those effected by the hurricane, while also taking this opportunity to send support. We may be on the other coast, but this circumstance has certainly hit home," he continued.

Tickets purchased to either the November 16 or November 17 performance, online or in person will be included. For additional information, go to http://stgpresents.org/tickets/by-month/eventdetail/243/-/dance-theatre-of-harlem.
