Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents SWEET DREAMS, THE MUSIC OF PATSY CLINE at Rialto Theater in Tacoma on Wednesday, September 8 (on what would be Clines 78th birthday) at 7:30pm and two shows at the Triple Door in Seattle on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 7:00pm (all ages) and 9:30pm (21+).

After two consecutive years of sold out performances, critically-acclaimed SWEET DREAMS is a celebration of iconic singer, Patsy Cline and features the Northwest's favorite singer/songwriters: Star Anna and The Laughing Dogs, Rachel Flotard (of Visqueen), Kristen Ward, Kim Virant (of Lazy Susan), and Victoria Wimer-Contreras.

An all-male house band backs the vocalists, and consists of Seattle area's hottest musicians including: Leif Andersen (guitar), Chris Friel (drums), Robert Michell (piano), Jeff Rouse (bass), Kevin Suggs (petal Steel), and Gary Westlake (guitar).
Creating a Patsy Cline tribute was a longtime goal for Debra Heesch, STG's Special Evens and Booking Associate and SWEET DREAMS producer. "I like to come up with shows that I can spend more time and energy to develop more fully," said Heesch. "SWEET DREAMS showcases these women in a different light as opposed to their own music, and gives them the opportunity to connect to new audiences."

Tickets: SWEET DREAMS, THE MUSIC OF PATSY CLINE tickets go on sale Friday, July 30th and are $23 in advance; $26 day of show. Official ticket sales through www.stgpresents.org. The Rialto Theater is located in the Broadway Center for Performing Arts at 901 Broadway in Tacoma. The Triple Door is located at 216 Union Street in Seattle.
